Pa Yak Boat Noodles is located at Victory Monument. It is one of the tourist attractions in Bangkok with Victory Monument right in the center of a traffic roundabout. I feel the best way to view it is when you take the BTS because the train route allows you to see half of Victory Monument without you having to walk so much.
From BTS Victory Monument, walk on the right towards Victory Monument until you reach the river. When you see the river on the right, go down the bridge stairs. You will pass by a 7-Eleven then walk along the river, Pa Yak Boat Noodles is at the end.
You can choose to sit outside along the river or inside with just a little air-con because of the hot weather. Since it was lunch time, it was quite crowded. Service, I felt wasn’t very good and they were not very friendly. I had to wait for some time before being able to order my food.
I see almost everyone around ordering stacks and stacks of bowls of Boat Noodles. You can choose different types of noodles for the Boat Noodles, I chose the usual glass noodles. I was still quite full from my Breakfast so I only ordered one bowl of Noodles Thicken Soup with Beef and one bowl of Noodles Sour Soup with Pork to try. Surprisingly, I like the pork one better. Now i finally know how Boat Noodles taste like.
