Ban Bossy Boutique

First of all, I think Ban Bossy Boutique has been renamed to Chris Garden since the last time I visited them. Everything seems to still look the same, the interior and all but I think their menu has changed.

For my first attempt visiting them, I had to leave disappointed because they were closed early as they had an event elsewhere. I tried again the second time on another day when I was in Seoul, after doing some things at the Hongdae area.

It’s nearer to get to Ban Bossy Boutique from the Sangsu Subway Station. You can also get there from the Hongik University Subway Station but it’ll be quite a walk if you’re coming from there.

This cafe is very insta-worthy with a lot of photo spots. It has mint, pastel pink, soft grey and white as its main interior colors. There are plants & greenery here and there and lots of sunshine from outside.

A vending machine selling Ban Bossy merchandise of face masks, stockings & socks, quite random for a cafe to be selling these.

Ban Bossy Boutique - Pancakes & Drink
I was craving for pancakes that day so I ordered some pancakes and a drink.

The pancakes were served with chocolate & strawberry ice cream and sugar syrup. They don’t have the best pancakes, in fact, their pancakes were not good at all. They were quite hard and dry, almost like a soft cookie.

Ban Bossy Boutique - Flower Petals in Ice Cubes Drink

The drink I ordered looks nice because it had colorful flower petals in its ice cubes but, let’s just say it looks better than how it actually tastes.

Ban Bossy Boutique is known for their beautiful cakes with cream piping floral designs. I didn’t order & try those and I wonder if they taste good. I don’t think I’ll ever come back here for the food, they definitely need more improvement on that. Now that it has become Chris Garden with a change in the menu, I hope the food tastes better now.
