It was tiring on the first day arriving in Korea after a 6 hours red-eye flight from Singapore, I didn’t manage to get enough sleep and rest well on the plane. Time wasn’t on my side, things were pushed back and just didn’t go as planned on that day but I thought I would still want to do up a blogpost for The SKYFARM, it’s really such a beautiful place.
The SKYFARM is also where scenes for a number of Korean Dramas were filmed, like W – Two Worlds, Clean With Passion For Now and The Secret Life of My Secretary that I’m watching recently. I love rom-com!
The SKYFARM is located in the FKI Tower on the 50 Floor, it isn’t hard to spot because it’s one of the taller skyscrapers in the Yeouido area. Walk from the Yeouido Subway Station, turn left and cut through in between the Industrial Bank and Starbucks till you see this FKI Tower signage above.
All Day Fresh Kitchen

There are two or three main restaurants at The SKYFARM, All Day Fresh Kitchen (세상의 모든 아침) and Korean Culinary Legacy (곳간). Korean Culinary Legacy serves Korean Art Cuisine and was awarded two Michelin stars in 2017 & 2018. But I was actually there for All Day Fresh Kitchen.
Why I said my day didn’t go as planned was because I initially planned to have lunch at The SKYFARM – All Day Fresh Kitchen. I know that their operating hours are from 9am to 11pm but I didn’t know they have a break time from 3pm to 5pm and I arrived there slightly after 3pm. I realized quite a number of restaurants in Korea have these break times that I have learned to take note now.
A table reservation at The SKYFARM – All Day Fresh Kitchen is recommended to be made beforehand, because I heard they are always packed. Making a table reservation will also ensure you have a good table near the windows where you get to enjoy the spectacular view from the top of the FKI Tower. They do walk-ins too, depending on how crowded The SKYFARM – All Day Fresh Kitchen is, waiting time can be quite long and you may have to share a table with others.
I felt a little disappointed I didn’t manage to try the food at All Day Fresh Kitchen. It’s a little pricey for the food there, even more expensive to dine at the Korean Culinary Legacy, but for the food (which I’ve heard is good), ambience and the view from The SKYFARM, it’s still considered worth it.
Since I was already there, though hungry without lunch, I walked around and explored the place a little. I love the white interiors of The SKYFARM, lots of sunshine from the windows and green plants here and there like a greenhouse.
As I’ve mentioned, the view from The SKYFARM is spectacular. You can see KBS, the Han River and many cherry blossom trees at the Yeouido Park below. I was very excited to go chasing cherry blossoms at Yeouido Park after. It gets romantic after sunset and I’m sure the view at night is breath-taking too.
