I never planned on visiting the Roof And x Im Vely Cafe, it was an unexpected find while checking out the Im Vely Flagship Store in Hongdae. Well, it’s a lot nearer to the Sangsu Subway Station than the Hongik University Subway Station, but it’s still considered to be in the Hongdae area.
I didn’t know that there was a cafe at the Im Vely Flagship Store on the 4 & 5 floor, it is pretty spacious with lots of seats.
Since I too needed to rest my tired legs from all that walking, there is a lot of walking involved when exploring Seoul. Ordering a cup of Latte and spending an hour or two chilling at the cafe was a good idea to me then.
I think the Im Vely Cafe is operated by Roof And, that has a chain of cafe outlets in Korea. They are known for their croissants which I regret not trying when I was there because I was too full from lunch, and having chocolate shavings in their drinks.
It was really peaceful with the soft background music. Maybe because it was a Friday early afternoon, there weren’t a lot of customers. I wonder if they are more packed on the weekends.
I find the Roof And x Im Vely Cafe a very good place to chill and to spend a quiet afternoon reading a book. I like that they have these power outlets where you can conveniently charge your phones.
You have to check out their restroom on the 4 floor too, even the interior of their restroom is nice.
