Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events
A Series of Unfortunate Events is originally a series of thirteen children’s novels by Lemony Snicket, the pen name of American author Daniel Handler. Then Netflix made it into a show, Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events.
The story tells of the extraordinary Baudelaire orphans Violet (Malina Weissman), Klaus (Louis Hynes) and Sunny (Presley Smith) in their fateful quest and adventure to unlock their long-held family secrets by solving puzzles and uncovering mysteries behind the death of their parents that perished in a terrible fire.
They face trials and tribulations set up by the evil and despicable Count Olaf (Neil Patrick Harris) with his many disguises to steal their parents’ fortune. The funny thing about Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events is that almost all the adults are dumb or oblivion to the disguises of Count Olaf except the Baudelaire orphans. Now how is that possible? It is from a children’s novel after all.
I really like how the show was filmed, I would give it best picture or cinematography. Count Olaf continues to haunt the Baudelaire orphans in Season 2. No matter how dark it may seem, it can always get worse.
Status: 2 Seasons
