I’ve heard so much about OSULLOC (오설록) before I went to Korea, many of my friends have commented that their tea is really good and I love tea! Planning a visit to an OSULLOC Tea House when I was in Seoul was definitely in my checklist.
I only recently learned that OSULLOC is by AmorePacific, the company that is also behind Korean beauty brands like Etude House, Innisfree, Laneige and Mamonde. It kind of makes sense, like Innisfree has a green tea range of skincare products and guess where they get the main ingredient of green tea from to make them, from the OSULLOC tea farms in Jeju of course.
Because it was spring, they had this seasonal range of cherry blossom products. I tried the tea sample from the range, it didn’t taste fabulous and wasn’t much to my liking but the blended tea leaves made such beautiful color stains in my paper cup. Well, it stained my tote bag too.
One of the things OSULLOC specialize in is products made from their premium green tea. I love the OSULLOC Green Tea Milk Spread, it tastes so good with toasted bread. I talked and shared about it a lot on my Instagram Stories.
The OSULLOC Tea House is a little dim with brick walls rustically painted in white, has a woody interior and furniture of tables & chairs. It actually feels kind of relaxing and calming being there, it’s quite a good place to chill out, until the tourists start coming in.
This OSULLOC Tea House is the Myeongdong outlet which is nearest to get to from the Euljiro 1-ga Subway Station. After which you can walk down and check out the Myeongdong shopping district. OSULLOC also has many other outlets across Korea. Other than their tea farms, they also have a Tea Museum in Jeju.
