Teaser 1
I was very looking forward to watching Suits Korean Drama because it stars Park Hyung-sik. I think he got really famous after Strong Woman Do Bong Soon Korean Drama. If you don’t already know, Suits Korean Drama is adapted from NBCUniversal’s ‘Suits’ series. Because Suits Korean Drama was showing so I actually went to watch the English version that has gone on for 7 seasons!

Cast
Patrick J. Adams as Mike Ross | Park Hyung-sik as Go Yeon-woo
In Suits Korean Drama, Go Yeon-woo is a university drop out who has an unlimited mind capacity. At first I taught Park Hyung-sik won’t be able to perform Mike Ross’s character because Park Hyung-sik has this goody two shoes outlook. I am now at Episode 5 and so far he is able to fit into the character in his own way.

Gabriel Macht as Harvey Specter | Jang Dong-gun as Choi Kang-seok
Jang Dong-gun plays Harvey Specter who loves winning and never lost a case in his career as a lawyer. This is an easy one, Gabriel Macht really did better in playing the charming and charismatic Harvey Specter.

Meghan Markle as Rachel Zane | Go Sung-hee as Kim Ji-na
Go Sung-hee plays Kim Ji-na as the pretty paralegal at the law firm, the only thing that is stopping her from becoming a lawyer is that she is afraid to take the bar exam. I also think Meghan Markle did a better job in playing Rachel Zane, after all she is to become a Duchess when she weds Prince Harry in a couple of days.
Rachel Zane and Mike Ross have the mutual love interest and I am wondering if the romance is due to unfold later in the Suits Korean Drama.

Gina Torres as Jessica Pearson | Jin Hee-kyung as Kang Ha-yeon
Also Gina Torres is better at playing Jessica Pearson who is the managing partner of the law firm compared to Jin Hee-kyung as Kang Ha-yeon. There is a certain level of intimidation when Jessica Pearson is in the room that scares Mike Ross so much at the beginning (maybe also because he has a secret to hide), you just don’t see that in Kang Ha-yeon, she looks motherly.
1:0
Rick Hoffman as Louis Litt | Choi Kwi-hwa as Chae Geun-sik
As annoying as he can be, Harvey Specter’s all time colleague and rival at work, Rick Hoffman plays Louis Litt better than Choi Kwi-hwa as Chae Geun-sik. Actually later on, I kind of sympathised Louis Litt, all he ever wanted is to be recognized and appreciated for his work in the law firm and not always being ranked number two, in the shadow of Harvey Specter.
1:0
Sarah Rafferty as Donna Paulsen | Chae Jung-an as Hong Da-ham
Definitely Sarah Rafferty playing Donna Paulsen as Harvey Specter’s capable assistant who will go above and beyond for him than Chae Jung-an as Hong Da-ham. Donna Paulsen has this degree of craziness that Hong Da-ham can’t beat. And so far Hong Da-ham’s actions and behaviors in the Suits Korean Drama haven’t really outshine herself in any way.

Teaser 3
So far, the adaptation in the Suits Korean Drama is quite close to the original ‘Suits’ series just that they have put law into the context of Korea in the storyline. But I feel that the NBCUniversal’s ‘Suits’ series is still better than the Suits Korean Drama. I prefer the original cast from the ‘Suits’ series and after some time, both can get a little dry because most of the episodes revolve around law cases that you will get tired of watching after some time. I am actually feeling quite dreadful to finish watching the Suits Korean Drama, 10 more episodes to go and I actually hope they won’t have a second season so Park Hyung-sik can focus on other works.
